Public use-case statement

BrandMilo helps authorized Etsy sellers transform their own active listing information into editable Pinterest Pin drafts. Users connect a Pinterest business account through OAuth, retrieve their boards, review the selected image, title, description, alt text, product link, and destination board, and explicitly approve immediate or scheduled publication. The service uses official APIs and does not collect Pinterest passwords or cookies.

Availability

Integration status is config-driven (currently In Review / Trial-oriented). Features are available only after the required Pinterest access has been granted for the relevant environment and user. Trial Pins/boards may be sandbox entities.

Scopes / permissions

Scope	Purpose
boards:read	List boards so the user can choose a destination.
pins:read	Support status and reconciliation where used.
pins:write	Create Pins from approved drafts.
user_accounts:read	Identify the connected Pinterest account for status and ownership.

OAuth / authorization steps

Authenticated user clicks Connect Pinterest in the BrandMilo app.
App creates a one-time state value and redirects to Pinterest authorization.
User reviews requested scopes on Pinterest and approves.
Callback validates state, exchanges the code, encrypts tokens, and stores the integration.
App syncs boards and shows connection status.

Reviewer steps

Open the public homepage and confirm Privacy Policy and Terms links in the footer.
Sign in to the reviewer workspace (credentials provided only in the secure Pinterest submission form never on this page).
Open Integrations → Connect Pinterest and complete OAuth.
Sync boards and open an authorized Etsy listing draft.
Review/edit title, description, alt text, image, link, and board.
Publish now or schedule a near-future time.
Confirm publication job status and Pin ID / Trial result.
Show Disconnect and Data Deletion pages.
